A veteran music producer has made a series of bold claims in regard to the creation of Aussie rock band Silverchair's debut album, Frogstomp.
Kevin 'Caveman' Shirley says he 'made' Frogstomp and it was his 'baby' because frontman Daniel Johns and his fellow band members were just 14 at the time.
Shirley's claims, which Johns rejects, were made during a discussion about the band's origins in the new podcast about the singer's life titled Who is Daniel Johns?

'I definitely felt like I made the record,' Shirley said of Frogstomp. 'Not that I played it, but that I made the record. It was my baby, as well as theirs.'
