As she recalled their backstage encounter at the MTV Video Music Awards 18 years ago on her talk show, the actress, 46, detailed a surreal moment, in which the rapper, 51, watched wife Beyonce, 40, perform Crazy in Love.
'He's standing there at the monitor, and I'm standing at the monitor because I'm going on after her [Beyonce] and we're watching her,' she remembered.

The mother-of-two went on to share their hilarious conversation, in which the 23-time Grammy winner told her 'it's so funny' how the Halo singer can just be 'hanging out and then just out there' then 'does all that' in minutes.
Barrymore agreed that it 'crazy' cool how the Destiny's Child alum 'can just switch personalities like that' and they continued talking, until he asked her to give him a 'second.'
'He picks up the microphone, and goes out onto the stage and does his part of the song,' Barrymore said, noting he left her in total shock.
