Lyle Lovett was spotted working on the Greenpoint, Brooklyn set of the hit police procedural Blue Bloods on Friday.
The 64-year-old singer-songwriter was notably seen in costume as Texas Ranger Waylon Gates and filmed scenes with series star Donnie Wahlberg while riding in a sizable truck.
The performer's appearance on the program comes a year after he was featured in a guest capacity in one of the show's episodes.
