And it seems The Block contestants Ronnie and Georgia Caceres vanished without a trace following the underwhelming sale of their four-bedroom home for $3,696,000.

Many fans flocked to Twitter to express their confusion on Sunday, asking 'where's Ronnie and Georgia?'

The couple were notably absent from the post-auction celebrations, as the teams congratulated each other on their respective sales.

One viewer speculated that Ronnie and Georgia had disappeared so they wouldn't have to congratulate certain other teams who had been accused of cheating.

'Can't believe Ronnie left the room so he didn't have to hug Tanya and Vito,' they wrote.

Back then the parents placed fourth out of the five teams.

One jokester tweeted: 'Ronnie and Georgia [are] one auction away from being on a milk carton and I can hardly blame them.'

Another blamed the couple's poor showing on their home's façade, which they described as looking 'like a tin shed'.

The couple sold their property for $3,696,000, making a $296,000 profit.

Mitch Edwards and Mark McKie were crowned the winners of The Block Fans v Faves for 2021 on Sunday night. 

The Sydney couple made the largest sum over reserve of all five Block houses at Bronte Court at auction, selling their home for $4,044,444 with a profit of $644,444.

Mitch, 59, and Mark, 60, also took home an additional $100,000, taking their total prize money to $744,444, with the stylish pair understandably in complete shock.

The flamboyant pair who starred in season 15 and returned for Fans v Faves, revealed how the prize money and crowning title will change their lives.

'We never had expectations or even hopes for that amount. This changes our lives as we've got a mortgage that we can't jump over, but with this prize we can take a great leap at it now,' Mitch said.     

Mark added: 'I think we're in shock as we stuck to our guns about what we thought a family home was about and it was a big risk.'

The couple well and truly succeeded compared to season 15 in 2019 when they placed fifth with a total profit of $384,000 after selling their property for $3,374,000 over their reserve of $2,990,000.  

Coming in second at auction was Josh and Luke Packham, selling their property for $3,930,000 with a $530,000.00 profit.

The former Love Island Australia stars created a modern a four-bedroom, three-bathroom property with one of the biggest draw cards being the master bedroom and outdoor bathtub.

Despite a season that saw Tanya implicated in the cheating scandal, the couple pulled off a chic and stylish home that gives a nod to the past with retro details.  

Josh and Luke implicated Tanya on Sunday's episode, saying that she was the one who took the photo showing the production schedule, and sent it to them.
