The Block's finale exploded in drama on Sunday night, as Tanya Guccione finally revealed she had taken the infamous production schedule photo after claiming an 'anonymous tradie' had sent it her for weeks.

The makeup artist, 40, was finally caught out after the Packham twins confessed that both Josh and Tanya had seen the schedule in Scott Cam's office near the crew's toilets, and she returned later to take a photo.

Yet prior to her confession, Tanya offered one last attempt to prove she was innocent - showing producers a screenshot of a clearly doctored 'text' she claims to have received from said tradie.

However, upon closer inspection of the text at hand, it's clear there was a few oversights Tanya didn't realise when showing off the clearly fake message.

For one, despite Tanya claiming the 'tradie' had sent her the image, no photo of the whiteboard schedule was present in the screengrab she showed producers.

Similarly, when a text message is sent on WhatsApp, it turns green and is placed on the right hand side.

But the messages in green were the ones Tanya claims to have allegedly received, reading: 'Hello Tanya I have your number from a friend. I have The Block schedule I think it can help you.'

Unless said 'tradie' had sent her a screenshot of the messages to her phone, it's clear it was faked in order for her to appear innocent.

She also wouldn't need to cover the top of the photo if this was the case, as it would be her name at the top - not the anonymous tradie's.

Finally, Tanya slipped up once again when asked when she received the text.

'What's the date of that?' a producer asked.

She replied: 'That was screen shot on the fourth of May. Oh sorry, not the fourth of May! the fourth of Feb.'

Earlier in the episode, Tanya continued to claim that she didn't not know who took the photo or sent her a text message containing it.
