Russell Crowe flexed his muscles and posed with his arms wide at Fort Ricasoli, where his 2000 film Gladiator was filmed, in Malta on Saturday.
The Australian actor, 57, was enjoying a bike ride in the Mediterranean country when he arrived at his old haunt which was used as a stand-in for Ancient Rome for the flick.
Russell seemed to be getting back into his iconic character of Maximus Decimus Meridius with the poses, while he wore black sports shorts and a T-shirt.

Russell took to Twitter before heading to the fort to tell his fans he would be there.
He wrote: 'Fort Ricasoli at 3:30pm ? See you there.'
Gladiator won Russell Oscar gold as he scooped the Best Actor gong for the Ridley Scott epic.
The film also won for Best Picture, Best Sound, Best Visual Effects and Best Costume Design.

Last year, Crowe called making Gladiator 'a unique experience,' partly because, according to the actor, 'the [initial] script that they had was so bad.'
'It was just so bad,' Russell continued. 'It was like, Okay, ummm. Yeah.'
But the producer Crowe was speaking to at the time didn't know he had seen an early version of the script, and succeeded in convincing the Insider star to still meet with Gladiator's acclaimed
