And enough time had past that Kim Kardashian didn't mind some self-deprecating jokes as she got the audience laughing at Kardashian family friend Simon Huck's pre-wedding party on Friday night.
The 41-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star joked at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood that she wasn't the ideal person to be addressing Huck and his fiancé Phil Riportella as she confessed she hadn't 'really figured out' marriage after her failed unions to Damon Thomas, Kris Humphries and Kanye West.

Kim had all eyes on her in a chic royal blue suit with long sleeves and matching gloves that complemented many of the enveloping Balenciaga ensembles she has worn recently.
She wore large jeweled earrings that looked like glittering ear muffs and had her raven locks tied back in a tight bun.
The reality star took center stage at the party in a short video posted to Instagram by journalist and fashion insider Derek Blasberg.
His video started just after Kim had made a joke that completely enveloped the room in laughter.
'When Simon asked me to talk, I was a little bit confused,' she began as she tried to talk over the chuckles, 'because I haven't really figured out this marriage thing myself, so I don't know what kind of advice he thinks I'm going to give to you guys tonight.'

Simon seemed to be loving her speech, and he could be seen rocking back and forth with laughter while Phil stood next to him just off Kim's side.
In another video from Tracy Romulus, the chief marketing officer of Kim's fashion and cosmetics brands, Kim added a more heart-felt coda to her speech.
'I will say, I have learned a lot, and I have some tips for you guys — like aesthetically — of what I think is super important,' she continued.
'Like little details, like when you guys are getting married and the guy is officiating you. Right when you're done and you guys are gonna kiss, the guy is always in the back of the picture. Or there's a microphone right there,' she said, adding that the awkward figure 'ruins all the pictures.'
'And sometimes that's all you've got,' she added knowingly.
But Kim just focused on superficial details because she know her pals were a strong match for each other.
'I have known you, Simon, for 15 plus years,' she added. 'Phil, I've known you for a long time, and I know that this is going to work. I know real love when I see it.'
