The Block's Tanya Guccione broke her media silence to speak to The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Tuesday, only for radio host Kyle Sandilands to call her purple hair 'ugly'.
And a day after the awkward interview, an old video has resurfaced of the 40-year-old hair and makeup artist showing how she achieves her signature look.
The reality TV villain revealed her tips and tricks in a "YouTube clip she originally shared in May 2019 in which she demonstrated how she perfects her wavy-hair look.

'People ask me all the time how I style it and how I get the waves... it's pretty easy, much easier with short hair,' Tanya said in the vlog.
'When it comes to hair, I think the messier and the more undone the better.'
Tanya began by using a Evy hair straightener, which retails for $180, at 210 degrees.

Tanya then started doing the 'zig zag' technique with her hair straightener to get curls and brushed them out.
She made sure to straighten the ends of her hair to 'give it more of a modern look'.
