So fans were understandably surprised when Sam Burgess' ex-wife Phoebe, 32, insisted she 'isn't rich' during her tell-all interview with journalist Mia Freedman's No Filter podcast on Thursday.
While discussing Phoebe's high-profile divorce, Mia boldly asked the ex-WAG: 'Have you got lots of money, Phoebs?'

Rather than answering the question, however, Phoebe carefully replied: 'Well... I've never stopped working.'
Phoebe, who is said to have walked away with 70 per cent of the marital wealth following her divorce from Sam, jokingly added: 'I'm just waiting for the helicopter to come pick me up after this chat... can I actually bum a few dollars for a ride home?'
'We threw in a free coffee!' Mia laughed, as Phoebe mused: 'I'm kidding. Look, I've always worked and I always will work.'

Phoebe, a former journalist, also works as an Instagram influencer and spends her days modelling expensive designer clothing on social media.
The growing Instagram star often used her parents' elegant home as a backdrop for her glamorous Instagram photo shoots.
Perhaps attempting to appear more relatable to her fans, Phoebe continued: I have a mortgage. I was able to buy [my children and I] a home, which I am renting out at the moment as an investment property, which I was really proud of.'
