Hours later she and the 23-year-old Canadian crooner took to their respective Instagram accounts to share a joint statement about their break-up writing that they 'decided to end our romantic relationship.'

The statement posted on both Camila and Shawn's social media about their split said: 'Hey guys, we've decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever. We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends.

They last shared snaps of one another to social media on October 31 and November 1, which were taken during their Day of the Dead celebrations.
Cabello and Mendes were last spotted publicly on November 3 while enjoying a beach day in Miami, Florida.
