Lizzo is featured for resisting societal norms and pushing boundaries when it comes to what is considered conventionally attractive.
The star, whose full name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, said in her interview that she doesn't want her platform to put more emphasis on bigger black women, but instead inspire people to look beyond the surface.
'It's exhausting,' she said. 'And that's the point. I don't want to talk about this anymore.'
