Natalia Cooper bid an emotional farewell to Nine News Sydney on Monday as she jetted home to Perth with her family.
The beloved reporter, 37, marked the bittersweet moment on Instagram, uploading photos of herself smiling through tear-stained eyes at Sydney Airport's departure terminal.
Posing with her musician husband Carl Fox and their son Ezra, one, Natalia wrote in the caption: 'And we're off! [Airplane emoji]'.

'There were a lot of tears and puffy eyes at the airport this morning. How lucky are we that three of our beautiful friends took us to the airport and gave us a special farewell [broken heart emoji, love heart emoji].
She then made a joking reference to her son's brightly-coloured outfit.
'(And yes Ezra is wearing a hyper colour T-shirt. Apparently they are all the rage again! [poking out tongue emoji])', she wrote.
