Lynne Spears is hoping to reconnect with her daughter Britney Spears this Thanksgiving

The 66-year-old has a fractured relationship with the singer, after Britney, 39, accused Lynne of being the real mastermind behind her 13-year-long conservatorship in a fiery Instagram post earlier this month.

Sources tell TMZ that Lynne arrived in Los Angeles this week to spend Thanksgiving with her son Brian, 44, but is also hoping to see Britney. But so far, no plans have been made.

In a video posted by the outlet on Monday, Lynne can be seen arriving at LAX where she confirmed to photographers that she was hoping to see her daughter over the holidays, and that she was pleased with the outcome of the conservatorship being terminated by a judge.

However, Lynne's attempts at making amends with her daughter could be futile - as it was reported last week that Britney was 'refusing' to see her and did not want to reunite.

The Toxic singer is said to have denied Lynne entry to her home, weeks before her conservatorship had been terminated by a judge, PageSix reported.

It comes after Britney accused Lynne of being the orchestrator of her 13-year conservatorship, that her father Jamie Spears famously controlled, in an Instagram post this month.

Britney accused her mother Lynne of 'ruining' her life in a since-deleted Instagram post this month, writing: 'My dad may have started the conservatorship 13 years ago … but what people don't know is that my mom is the one who gave him the idea.
