The reporter and actress, 47, shared a cosy selfie with the music mogul, 62, as they chatted for the entertainment news show in the garden of his Malibu home.
The pair dated from 2002 to 2008 and have remained firm friends, often spending time together alongside Simon's partner partner Lauren Silverman.
