Jamie Oliver delightedly accepted the Order Of The Star Of Italy at London's Italian Embassy on Wednesday evening.

The TV chef, 46, cut a suave figure in a dark grey suit which he teamed up with a tie in a lighter shade, along with a white shirt.

While accepting the accolade, he posed alongside fellow restaurateur Gennaro Contaldo, who also bagged himself the recognition.

Beaming from ear-to-ear, The Jamie's Super Food star posed alongside his team of chefs while revealing he will be granted an Italian passport. The prestigious medal is a second civilian honor and is awarded to those who promote ties with Italy abroad.
