He welcomed his son Raphael with his new wife Frida earlier this week. 

And Jamie Redknapp looked on cloud nine on Sunday as he proudly marked his newborn's first outing on Instagram. 

The former pro footballer, 48, appeared to be taking fatherhood in his stride for the third time, smiling from ear-to-ear in the sunshine as he pushed little Raphael's pram.

Jamie, who became a dad for the third time on Wednesday, wrote alongside the photograph: 'First walk about with Raphael ❤️ . [sic] @frida_redknapp .'

The sweet snap was immediately inundated with messages of congratulations, with cricket commentator Michael Vaughan leaving three red hearts.

The foootball ace took no time to rest on paternity leave as he made his return to TV to interview England player Mason Mount for Sky on Saturday. 

In his downtime, Jamie was sure to cosy up to his baby boy as the pair snuggled up by the fire at home together to watch Succession
