Lily Cole has revealed the black dress she wore to this year's British Fashion Awards is one she kept for nine years.
The model, 33, who is passionate about sustainability, told how she previously wore the Alexander McQueen dress to the premiere of Snow White And The Huntsman in 2012.
The star said she was also wearing a necklace she bought when she was 17 while her jacket was over 13 years old.

Sharing snaps of the garment to Instagram she wrote: '2012-2021 : who wore it better?? I wore my old McQueen dress for the Fashion Awards last night, because sustainability means loving things MORE and committing to them !!
'To value things, repair them & make them last longer - (I've re-lined my 13+ years old Rick Owens jacket, which I had fun showing to Rick last night).
