Gigi Hadid cuts a casual figure as she arrives in Mallorca

Rumors swirled that Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid are on the outs once again after reports surfaced that Zayn 'struck' Gigi's mom, Yolanda, last week.

Sources told TMZ that the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is 'seriously considering' filing a police report to document the alleged assault.

In a statement to the publication, the One Direction member hoped to rise up the 'divisiveness' and 'restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow for me to co-parent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves.'

Zayn strongly rejected all allegations, stating: 'I adamantly deny striking Yolanda Hadid and for the sake of my daughter I decline to give any further details and I hope that Yolanda will reconsider her false allegations and move towards healing these family issues in private.'

2015

Gigi and Zayn first became an item more than six years ago when they were spotted leaving Justin Bieber's American Music Award's after-party holding hands. 

A source told Us Weekly in November 2015 that while they weren't 'boyfriend and girlfriend' yet, they were definitely into each other.

2016 

Months later, Gigi was spotted wearing a Z necklace on her way to Paris Fashion Week as she flashed a photo of Zayn as her phone background.

Malik however denied any romance rumors during an appearance on the Beats 1 radio show and insisted the pair were just 'good friends.'

His debut as a solo artist took a sexy turn with the video release for his first single, Pillowtalk, starring none other than Gigi. The steamy visuals were followed by a flirty online exchange, leading many to believe that their friendship was anything but platonic. 

In May, they confirmed what was already assumed as they walked hand-in-hand on the red carpet at fashion's biggest night, the Met Gala.
