Michael Jackson's daughter Paris has let the public in on some of her childhood recollections of her godmother Elizabeth Taylor.

Elizabeth and Michael were longtime close friends and she even held her eighth and final wedding at his notorious Neverland Ranch. 

Paris, who was just shy of her 13th birthday when Elizabeth died in 2011 at the age of 79, told People magazine what she can remember.

'Obviously, I was a little girl at the time, so I can't share any conversations or specific recollections I had with my godmother. But in my mind's eye, I can recall my dad speaking with Elizabeth on a few occasions at our home in Encino,' she wrote.

'They would sit in the living room and have conversations alone. She was very pretty and wore sparkling necklaces and rings,' Paris added.

Elizabeth was so fond of jewels she became known as the Queen Of Diamonds and even released a fragrance called White Diamonds.

Richard Burton, the husband she married twice, once presented her with a whopping 68 carat rock that became known as the Taylor-Burton diamond.

He also gave her the world-famous 33.19 carat Krupp Diamond, which she used to refer to as 'my baby' and which has been rechristened the Elizabeth Taylor Diamond. 

Paris dished: 'Most of the time when I would walk into the living room to say: "Goodnight," I was aware of the fact that most of the people who came to see my father looked like business people and they were almost always men.'

The showbiz legacy added: 'Elizabeth was an exception. I did not know who she was or what she did, and it would be years later that I found out. At the time I just remember how I always wanted to bring her little gifts when we would visit her,
