Media doyenne Kerri-Anne Kennerley says she has lost count of the number of times she experienced sex discrimination during her 50-year career in the entertainment industry.
The 68-year-old spoke to Daily Mail Australia about her experience at the Women of the Future Awards in Sydney on Wednesday, as she addressed the parliamentary sexual misconduct scandals that have rocked Canberra in recent months.
She said women of her generation 'powered through' discrimination, and that young women today need to 'be resilient and demand respect'.

Kennerley went on to say she 'doesn't want to see a whole generation of young women with no resilience', adding: 'First of all, you have to look at yourself and go, "I'm sorry, you will not treat me like that," and draw a very big line in the sand.
