And Lily Collins is back in a big way as she roamed the streets of the City of Love wearing gorgeous retro ensembles as she posed on the cover of Glamour ahead of season two of her popular comedy, Emily in Paris.

The 32-year-old actress completely immersed herself in Emily's fashionable character as she paraded around the city wearing designer duds, with styling from the masterminds Patricia Fields and Marylin Fitoussi.

She filmed scenes wearing a bright red off-the-shoulder blouse with a matching skirt as she chatted with Lucien Laviscount, her new beau Alfie.

The pair, who both play strangers in a new town, got up close and personal during one scene as they held hands. 

The internet was set alight with praise and backlash to the lighthearted series from television guru Darren Star which debuted during the peak of the pandemic.

'We never represented it as anything other than what it was going to be,' Lily said. 'And we didn't know the world would be in the state that it was in when it came out. 

'People said they were laughing and smiling for the first time in a long time, that it reminded them of what fun felt like and that we were able to offer some escapism
