Rylan Clark-Neal has shared a selfie wearing a blue surgical mask and huge shades following his latest cosmetic procedure on Friday afternoon.

The It Takes Two host, 33, poked fun at his image overhaul as he also shared a post which read, 'New teeth, new hair, swollen face!'.

Rylan did not confirm what he had been having done, but joked that he would like to present Strictly wearing his mask and sunglasses.

The post comes after Rylan said is 'going through a mid-life crisis' after starting to dye his hair blonde and swapping his trademark sparkly white veneers, which he got back in 2013, for a new set of gnashers.

In the new image posted to his Instagram Stories, Rylan wore a pair of stylish gold frame sunglasses and a black Essentials hooded jacket.

He wrote over the snap: 'Can I host Strictly like this?'

Earlier this week, the star apologised for 'scaring people' after he had a four-month break from the spotlight earlier this year, following his split from husband Dan Neal.

The Supermarket Sweep presenter admitted he 'wasn't good' earlier in 2021, but he believes the break could be 'exactly what [he] needed' during a candid interview on Tuesday's Lorraine. 

When asked if he is 'alright' after going through a break up earlier this year, Rylan - who split from Dan in June after six years of marriage - said on 'Lorraine': 'I wasn't good, I'm not gonna lie. I think everyone knows that.

When asked if he is 'alright' after going through a break up earlier this year, Rylan - who split from Dan in June after six years of marriage - said on 'Lorraine': 'I wasn't good, I'm not gonna lie. I think everyone knows that.

'You know I'm normally on telly every five minutes, I apologise you have to see my mug all the time.

'I had four months off, and it was needed. It's been 10 years now I've been doing this job nearly, which is crazy.

'Maybe the time off is exactly what I needed. But I'm good.'I'm obviously going through a mid-life, trying to dye my hair blonde, new teeth. [The teeth] are a lot smaller.
