50 Cent apologizes to Madonna for poking fun at her racy lingerie photos

50 Cent shared a begrudging apology to Madonna on Thursday for making fun of a set of steamy photos she posted around Thanksgiving.

The 46-year-old rapper reposted a photo of himself and the 63-year-old pop icon that had been taken nearly two decades earlier as he walked back his mocking comments on Twitter.

'I must have hurt Madonna feelings,she went and dug up a old MTV photo from 03 [sic],' he began his post, adding a shoulder shrug emoji.

'Ok Im sorry i did not intend to hurt your feelings,' he continued. 'I don't benefit from this in anyway i said what i thought when i saw the picture because of where i had seen it before i hope you accept my apology [sic].'

The hitmaker attached the same photo from 2003 of herself affectionately posing alongside him that she used to call out his phoniness.

Madonna didn't appear to have directly responded to 50 Cent's tweet, though she returned to Instagram with a striking new set of images from a photoshoot.

She appeared facing the camera and with her back to it in two photos while posing next to a drawing of a nude woman with her legs spread apart.

The photos were reminiscent of images she posted earlier in November that were taken down by Instagram, seemingly because one of her nipples was exposed. 

'I'm reposting photographs Instagram took down without warning or notification….. The reason they gave my management that does not handle my account was that a small portion of my nipple was exposed,' she wrote amid a longer caption. 'It is still astounding to me that we live in a culture that allows every inch of a woman's body to be shown except a nipple.'

In her latest steamy photos, the singer–songwriter was scantily clad in a black bustier-style top covered by a sheer black top with long sleeves.

She paired it with fishnet stockings similar to the ones she wore in the original photo that caught 50 Cent's eye.

She completed her edgy look with intriguing gold studded heels with several straps, as well as fingerless black gloves.

The Like A Prayer singer wore several necklaces and a cross around her throat, and she had her platinum blond locks parted down the middle to frame her extremely smooth face.

'ART imitates LIFE imitates NATURE. ………….. but it still makes me TIRED,' she wrote, adding a crying emoji and a hashtag for Tracey Emin, the English artist who had painted the nude featured in some of the pictures.

Another photo showed Madonna resting on a bed with a painting of a topless woman from behind hanging behind her. 

In other photos, she got down on her hands and knees on the carpet in front of a painting of two young boys.
