Kim's children appeared to have taken Christmas into their own hands as they held their 'Elf On The Shelf' dolls hostage.
The reality star, 41, found the elves taped to the wall with several toy monsters guarding them beside a ransom note written in a childlike scrawl on Saturday morning.

A bemused Kim wrote in the Instagram Stories, 'I hid the elves myself last night and woke up this morning with them completely moved and a whole different situation going on. #Dark.'
The chilling display saw the elves taped to the wall, tied up with straw string, and their mouths sealed off.
On the floor, several toy monsters sat at their feet, guarding the elves with an axe nearby.
The 'perpetrators' were caught red-handed as they were found with the straw string, tape, and marker used during the kidnapping.
