The Project host Tommy Little has admitted he spent his days in lockdown drowning his sorrows after breaking up with his live-in girlfriend.
The comedian, 36, told TV Week he would regularly drink himself 'into a stupor' after splitting from environmental activist Natalie Kyriacou late last year.
The relationship breakdown was made worse by the fact Melbourne's strict Covid-19 restrictions were already taking a toll on his mental health.

'I was living with a partner but that didn't go well. She's wonderful but we didn't go well. Then I've been living with my housemate,' he said.
'And it sucked. I thought I was going to achieve so much having more time on my hands but I didn't. All I did was drink myself into a stupor.'
Tommy said he'd wanted to take advantage of the time at home to write material for his upcoming stand-up show, I'll See Myself Out, but his 'brain turned to mush'.
