She's preparing to celebrate her one-year anniversary with former Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley.
And Alex Pike, 44, described how dating in her forties has been different experience to being married in her twenties.
'Marriage is very different to what you expect, specifically when you get married in your early twenties,' the cosmetic nurse told the Ageless by Rescu podcast.
'My first husband is like the brother I never had. He's amazing. We talk every day, we have dinner all the time. But I was like a little girl, like a child [in that marriage],' the mother-of-three explained.
While Alex did not name her ex-husband, it is believed she was married to Leon Siebel, a wealthy renewable entrepreneur.
When asked to describe her relationship with Nathan, Alex said: 'I feel maturity, but also it's a feeling of being very equal.'
