And reports now claim Channel Nine has finally nabbed the in-demand journalist, 51, with plans to add her to the Today show lineup in 2022.

Bosses are apparently planning for Melissa to join the Today show as a regular contributor.
'They want her in the studio live with Karl and Ally, and are considering a number of options – including a weekly segment that covers off the big stories. It's the best move they've made in a very long time,' the source said.
Fans could also see Melissa join the cast of 60 Minutes, which is currently hosted by Liz Hayes.
