Joe Gorga was pulled off the stage by his wife Melissa Gorga after failing to crack up audience members for the right reasons during a recent stand-up routine at Carolines On Broadway.
The Real Housewives Of New Jersey star struggled to tell a joke before his wife eventually intervened.
Joe blamed his subpar performance on a mixture of alcohol and 'a couple of scotches,' according to a statement obtained by Page Six.

In video of the crash and burn, Joe was not amusing audience members as he would have hoped as he struggled to tell a joke.
Instead, the reality star repeatedly asked the crowd versions of 'You guys ready?'
The audience, however, did humor him by cheering him on.
'Listen you (expletive),' Joe said at one point, causing the audience to laugh in shock.

If anything, Melissa got more people laughing as she attempted to excuse her husband's performance before pulling him off stage.
'I don't know what they gave you backstage babe,' Melissa said to her husband as the audience laughed.
'I swear to you, usually he cracks us up, he has a routine that makes us all laugh in tears every night. That I promise you!... Come on, let's go!'
In a statement, Joe blamed his performance on the combination of cold medicine and alcohol.
