'Christmas with Delta' topped the nightly ratings when it aired in December 2020.

However the Delta Goodrem-hosted concert event has had to be rebranded for its 2021 iteration, in order to avoid confusion with the deadly Delta Covid variant that shut down most of Australia this year. 

Channel Nine have this year named the December 11 program 'Christmas with Delta Goodrem' instead.

Featured during the musical entertainment program will be a line-up of Australian and international stars including Andrea Bocelli, Natalie Imbruglia, Cody Simpson, and Sheppard. 

There will also be a performance of Silent Night with Mitch Tambo on didgeridoo and Paul Kelly, who also sings his own Christmas classic, How To Make Gravy. 

Delta will also duet with Take That lead singer Gary Barlow and British R&B crooner Craig David. 

When the program aired last year it drew 380,000 metro viewers around Australia, ahead of a repeat of Midsomer Murders on the ABC (254,000). 

Christmas with Delta Goodrem airs Saturday, December 11, at 7.30pm on Nine.
