'I was doing it for Albert's future': I'm A Celeb winner Danny Miller reveals partner Steph Jones urged him to go on the show to ensure their financial security after welcoming a baby son Danny's son Albert was only three weeks old when he went into the camp.  The former Emmerdale star, 30 has revealed that although he wanted to quit on multiple occasions, but he could not go through with it because he had to provide for his family. He told The Mirror about how he did not want to go on the show because of just having a newborn.

Danny's son Albert was only three weeks old when he went into the camp, and has revealed that although he wanted to quit on multiple occasions, but he could not go through with it because he had to provide for his family. 

The former Emmerdale star, 30, told The Mirror about how he did not want to go on the show because of just having a newborn.

He said: 'We were going to go through the IVF which would’ve led us up to April next year and then she naturally fell pregnant, it sped everything up four or five months, and I was going to say no to the show because I didn’t think it was the right time. 

'She was the one who said, "You need to do it for us and to set us up". Without this show, I wouldn’t have been able to leave Emmerdale and it’s all good saying that I wanted to go out there and show people who I am and stuff, but financially I’m not going to lie, without her, I wouldn’t have been able to do the show.'
