David 'Big Papi' Ortiz, 46, of Red Sox fame is splitting amicably from his wife Tiffany, 47, after 25 years as a couple.
Tiffany made the announcement on her Instagram page this Monday, sharing an old black and white picture of the two of them.
'Over the past 25 years, David and I have shared a beautiful adventure in love and partnership,' Tiffany began her announcement.

'We have made the decision to go into a new phase of our life journey together, not as a couple, but as friends and co-parents to our amazing children,' she added.
Tiffany and Big Papi, who began dating in 1996 and married in 2002, share two children: Alexandra, 20, and D'Angelo, 17.
David also has two children from previous relationships - a daughter called Jessica and a son called David.
Big Papi and Tiffany first broke up in 2013 and he told MLB and WEEI.com at the time: 'There are some situations in life that work out for a period of time and at some point they don't work out anymore and you have to move on.'
