Below Deck star Heather Chase has issued an apology after she said the N-word in the presence of co-star Rayna Lindsey.
In a statement posted to her Instagram account, Chase vowed to 'do better' after Monday night's episode captured her saying the racial slur in front of Rayna, a Black deckhand, after she heard Lindsey use the remark.
'I am sorry for the hurt my ignorance caused Rayna in tonight's episode. While I apologized to Rayna throughout the season, I cannot express enough how truly remorseful I am,' Chase, the chief stewardess, posted after the episode aired.
