The 45-year-old best-selling author, who shares nine-year-old son Jack with the Guardians of the Galaxy, appeared in high spirits while running errands around Los Angeles by herself.
For the outing, she rocked a navy sweater, distressed jeans, sunglasses and a pair of short brown Ugg boots.

Sources revealed to PEOPLE on Thursday morning that Katherine and Chris have another baby on the way just a little over a year after welcoming their 16-month-old daughter.
Their new baby joy comes shortly after Pratt honored his wife with a sweet social media tribute for her birthday.

Chris and Katherine first sparked romance rumors in early 2018, after they were spotted canoodling in Santa Barbara, CA.
Seven months prior, Chris filed for divorce from Faris after eight-years of marriage, citing 'irreconcilable differences,' according to TMZ. They asked for joint custody of their son, who was five-years-old at the time.
