Bindi Irwin and her team at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital have cared for thousands of animals since it was established in 2004.
And on Wednesday, she shared a heartfelt story of survival about an orphaned animal in their care.
The 23-year-old shared a photo of a little tawny frogmouth - a native Australian bird - perched on a branch in a comfortable looking enclosure.

She wrote: 'Sprout the orphaned tawny frogmouth was found emaciated and brought to our @AustraliaZoo Wildlife Hospital.
The conservationist shared that the bird was given fluids and plenty of rest for him to regain his strength.
'He is now with a dedicated wildlife carer who will give him the long-term love and care he needs to one day be released into the wild,' said added.
