Actress Evanna Lynch - who played Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter films - was quick to shut down Eamonn Holmes when he suggested her fellow castmates had given the books' author JK Rowling 'the cold shoulder' over her statements on transgender issues.
During an interview on GMB on Tuesday, Irish star Evanna, 30, said she would 'of course' work with Rowling, 56, on another film, prompting host Eamonn, 62, to remark: 'I'm sure not all your colleagues may think the same, bearing in mind the amount of you that have given JK Rowling the cold shoulder over her social views.'
Evanna promptly fired back: 'I wouldn't say it was the cold shoulder' before adding that she 'rejects' such a narrative.
