Emmerdale star and Strictly Come Dancing winner Kelvin Fletcher's new BBC show has been branded a 'rip off' of Jeremy Clarkson's hit farming programme. Well, only if you don’t have an Amazon subscription enabling you to watch the infinitely superior Jeremy Clarkson series.' THE TIMES Victoria Segal writes: 'Escaping to the country is the move of the TV moment, Sarah Beeny, Kate Humble and Jeremy Clarkson all documenting new lives in farming. Now, Strictly winner Kelvin Fletcher is hoping his experience can help him reactivate a 120-acre Peak District farm. A maggoty sheep’s foot initially triggers a squeamish turn; wife Liz is allergic to horses and hay. “It really is madness,” says helpful tenant Gilly, “but I do wish him all the luck.”' Advertisement Following the show's inaugural episode on Monday, fans have echoed the sentiment on Twitter.
