In scenes set to air next week, a desperate Tim yearns to tell Sally what's happened and apologise - and, from his hospital bed, begs Kevin to speak to Sally for him so she knows how much he loves her.
In the same moment Tim is about drift off from his anaesthetic, he hears a clamour in the corridor in which his wife gets arrested.
Yet when he wakes up from the operation, Tim puts the hazy memory down to a weird dream.
