Michael Weatherly has confirmed that his CBS drama series Bull will be coming to an end after the current sixth season.
The 53-year-old actor took to Twitter on Monday afternoon, sharing a number of tweets and a new trailer that confirms the show is ending.
CBS has yet to confirm a series finale date at this time, though Weatherly thanked his fans for tuning in for the past six years.

'Hello all! It’s been my privilege to play Dr Jason Bull but after 6 Seasons of incredible storylines, I’ve decided it’s time to pursue new creative challenges and bring his story to a close,' Weatherly began.
'It has been an honor to work with this talented cast, crew and writing/producing team who helped reinvent the legal drama,' he continued.
'Stay tuned for a big series finish…Thanks to all the fans from the bottom of my heart. You will always be a part of our Bull family!' he concluded.

He also shared a brief video where his character introduces himself, 'I'm Jason Bull. I change juries' minds for a living.'
The video also features shots of co-stars Chris Jackson (Chunk Palmer), Geneva Carr (Marissa Morgan), Jaime Lee Kirchner (Danny James), as Bull says, 'We always knew this day would come.'
He's seen telling his team, 'I couldn't have done it without you all, thank you,' with the video concluding by stating a new
