Nick Kyrgios has opened up about his battle with Covid-19, saying the virus left him 'bedridden for days' in the lead-up to his triumphant return to the Australian Open.
The tennis star, 26, revealed last week he had tested positive and was isolating for seven days - but he was able to make a full recovery and defeated Britain's Liam Broady in the first round at Melbourne Park on Tuesday.
The former world No. 13 admitted on the Today show on Thursday that Covid had a 'very bad' effect on him because of his severe asthma.
