Debi Mazar reacts to Julia Fox casting rumors for Madonna's 'epic' biopic

Debi Mazar took to Instagram on Wednesday to react to rumors that Kanye West's muse Julia Fox is in talks to play her in Madonna's upcoming biopic.

'I've never met @juliafox in person. I interviewed her once. I think she is gorgeous, smart and a very talented actress,' said the 57-year-old actress, who included several throwback images of her younger self.

Mazar continued: 'Funny enough, she reminds me more of Madonna when we were young [than] of myself! I'd obviously be flattered.'

She went on to 'wish the best to all the gals who audition' to play her and even encouraged hopefuls to 'gimme a ring' if they need 'dance moves or accent coaching.'

Debi, who is a longtime friend and confidant to the 63-year-old Material Girl songstress, began her Instagram post by explaining that she's been bombarded with messages regarding Julia's potential portrayal of her.

'My phone has literally blown up this past week after it was announced that @juliafox took a meeting with @madonna for her film,' she wrote.

It was Entertainment Weekly who originally reported that Julia may be considered for the role.

Mazar continued: 'The press is asking me to verify rumors, and paparazzi are literally DM-ing me to ask to photograph me so they can submit comparisons of Julia and I.'

Although she finds Julia 'gorgeous,' Debi stressed that her real life doppelgänger is actually her daughter Evelina, whom she shares with husband Gabriele Corcos.

'The one who looks exactly like me is my 19 year old daughter Evelina, but she is not an accomplished actress…YET….,' she teased.

'I find it all quite amusing, but what I find most interesting is that someone will be playing ME! It's surreal!'
