Strictly champs Rose Ayling Ellis and Giovanni Pernice looked delighted to be reunited as they joined the cast of 2021 for the first leg on the tour on Thursday night.

Ahead of the performance at Birmingham Arena, the EastEnders star, 27, who was the first deaf star to compete on the show, posed with Giovanni, 31, with the pair putting on a very cosy display.

Showing no signs of stage nerves, their bond was clear to see as they beamed at one another for the photocall before dancing in the dress rehearsal.

Rose turned heads in a spectacular feathered ensemble as she showcased her moves ahead of the cast's big night.

Adorned with thousands of beads, the skintight number accentuated her incredible figure.

Rose and Giovanni played up to the cameras as they did a number of dance poses, including one where the actress wrapped her leg around him intimately.

It comes after the pair got sentimental as they larked around backstage on Wednesday during dress rehearsals.

The actress and the professional dancer looked as though they were having a blast as they prepared to hit the stage together once again when the UK tour kicks off on Thursday night.

Giovanni said to Rose: 'It's nice to dance with you again.'

To which she replied: 'Yeah, it's lovely to dance again and it brings back happy memories.'
