The 59-year-old's time was up on Monday night after he failed to guess the correct amount of eyeballs in a jar.
The reality star was up against co-star Emily Seebohm, who valiantly guessed 91, while Derek settled on 175.

The correct answer was 112, sending Derek flying through the air after he was ejected from the competition.
In a post chat with hosts Julia Morris and Chris Brown, Derek said he was happy he took the opportunity to address systemic racism while on the show.
'For me, as an Aboriginal person, it takes a long time for me to get that trust from a non-indigenous person,' he said.
