Anna Vakili called the police over fears she was being kidknapped but ended up getting arrested for having a boozy fight with her sister Mandi in April last year.

No further details about Anna's abduction concerns have been revealed, but the sisters were handcuffed outside of The Dorchester hotel when police arrived to find them having a row during the night out in central London.

The Love Island star, 31, said she was the one who initially called the police over fears she was going to be kidnapped - but she ended up spending the night in a cell.

The sisters were also previously embroiled in 'vicious fight' with group of teens they claim 'threatened them with illegal weapons' in London's Hyde Park in May 2020.

During the more recent incident, while the siblings waited for police to arrive after reporting their kidnapping fears they ended up in fighting while out just after midnight on April 11 last year.

The sisters were arrested and then released on suspicion of common assault, but Anna has said she wants to 'sue' the police over the incident.

Anna admitted that she regularly ends up rowing with her younger sister, 29, after having 'too much to drink' on nights out

She told the Sun: 'We got arrested for fighting each other – it wasn't even a physical fight. Mandi scratched my neck and it was bleeding a tiny bit. It was the tiniest little scratch, and the worst part of this is, that I called the police!'

Anna, who appeared on series four of the ITV dating reality show, and Mandi were then handcuffed and put into a police van, where she claims she could see the officers Googling her name in the front seat.

Once they realised the situation was serious, they told officers it was nothing to be concerned about and that they were sisters.

However they were taken to the station and spent 14 hours in police cells before being quizzed by officers and later released.

Anna said: 'The next morning during my video interview, I told them I would sue them, and that she was my sister. I was saying, "have you never had a fight with your sister?" I love my sister more than anything in this world.'

When approached for comment about Anna's claims, a spokesman for Met police told the publication : 'Police were called at approximately 00:06hrs on Sunday, 11 April to reports of a disturbance in Park Lane, W1.

'Officers attended and spoke to a witness who reported seeing two women involved in an altercation. No injuries were reported.

'Two women, aged 29 and 30, were arrested on suspicion of common assault and taken into custody.

'Following enquiries it was established that no further action was necessary and both were released from custody.'

In May 2020, Anna claimed she was set upon by a group of who 'threatened them with illegal weapons' during the Bank Holiday weekend.

She released a statement, insisting she was forced to act in 'self-defence' after a 'drug-using' teenager 'swung' at her cousin Asal - a claim her family firmly denied.

In a video shared on social media, the TV personality can be seen dragging a young woman by her hair across the concrete, before Mandi kicks her in the head following a heated exchange.

The pharmacist kicked off her post by referring to abuse she's been met with online, stating: 'Since coming out of Love Island it's become my normal for people to shout abuse at me in the streets and I have learned to turn a blind eye and remove myself from the situation.'

Anna later said she, Mandi, her cousin and her boyfriend were approached by a group, who 'subjected them to continuous verbal abuse' and claimed
