Just last week, glamorous brunette Lauren was spotted flying back home after a whirlwind trip to Johns' hometown of Newcastle.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia, a close friend of Johns said the rocker finds Mac's independence and vivacious personality hugely appealing.
'Daniel has had a lot of heartbreak over the years so it's nice to see him happy once again. He adores Lauren and who knows she could be 'The One',' they said.

The friend went on to say that Lauren is 'head-over-heels' with the ARIA award-winning musician.

Johns and Mac both follow each other on Instagram and have been 'liking' each other's photos dating back to July 2021.
