Sheridan Split allegedly broke off her four month relationship with boyfriend Alex Lawler due to lingering feelings for her ex-fiancé Jamie Horn.
The actress, 40, used the Mancunian actor as a 'rebound fling' since she will still 'grieving' her previous failed engagement, according to reports.
A friend of the star told Closer: 'Sheridan was still very much in love with Jamie when she reunited with Alex and she was still grieving for the end of their relationship.

Sheridan's representative has been contacted for comment by MailOnline.
It follows reports that Sheridan's friends said that it was her who broke off the relationship with Alex, but that it had been an amicable breakup.
The couple had first dated more than two decades ago, before reuniting last September to rekindle their romance. Sheridan since deleted any trace of the Mancunian actor from her social media.

A source told The Sun: 'Sheridan and Alex’s relationship ended a few weeks ago.
