Andrew Garfield confirms he wore the EXACT same suit for Spider-Man: No Way Home

Nearly a decade after he debuted as the new Peter Parker in Sony's 2012 The Amazing Spider-Man, Andrew Garfield returned in Sony/Marvel's Spider-Man: No Way Home, and the actor just confirmed an amazing detail.

The 38-year-old actor played Peter/Spider-Man in The Amazing Spider-Man and the 2014 sequel The Amazing Spider-Man 2 alongside Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy.

Garfield confirmed in an interview on Josh Horowitz's Happy Sad Confused podcast that he actually wore the exact same suit from a decade earlier... though he had to hit the gym first.

'Yeah. I still fit, bruh. No, I had to get in shape. I had to work on it with my trainer. I was very nervous about that,' Garfield admitted.

'I was very nervous. I was like, no one wants to see an old, fat guy in a Spider-Man costume,' Garfield added.

The movie features the return of both his version of Peter Parker and Tobey Maguire's Peter Parker from Sony's original Spider-Man trilogy directed by Sam Raimi.

Spider-Man: No Way Home begins to explore more fully the concept of the 'multiverse,' as it's revealed that both Andrew and Tobey's Peter Parker characters are each from completely different worlds that make up the 'multiverse.'

There had been rumors of both Garfield and Maguire's involvement for months, if not years, with Garfield himself revealing on Happy Sad Confused that he is most definitely not in the movie, which turned out to be a lie.
