The Without Me hitmaker was seen in a pale beige leotard that was plunging in the front and had frills on the straps as she strummed her green guitar on the chair in front of a piano.
'I hate u but ur my only friend,' the 27-year-old New Jersey native wrote in her caption for her 28.1M Instagram followers.
And the crooner - whose full name is Ashley Nicolette Frangipane - also credited the photographer, Donslens.
She had on the very skimpy outfit that showed off her tan lines, and she paired the look with socks.
Her many tattoos were on display thanks to the lack of clothing. Her hair was dark and worn down in soft, natural waves as she wore soft pink makeup.
Halsey was looking deep in though as she did not peer into the camera.
