Lady Gaga has revealed that she often takes extra measures to respect her co-stars' personal boundaries while on set.
The 35-year-old actress and singer, who has acted out intimate scenes in a number of her projects, explained she frequently ensures her scene partners are comfortable before she will touch them during filming.
'I ask for consent a lot, actually,' Gaga told Jake Gyllenhaal, who interviewed her for the latest installment of the Variety Studio: Actors on Actors series.

During the Variety interview, the star told Jake, 41, 'The way that I feel safe is just that I feel safe being in pain. I feel safe in art.'
