More than 70,000 people have signed a petition requesting Travis Scott perform at Coachella in 2023.
Fans eager for the 30-year-old rapper's potential inclusion at the world-famous music festival started the online poll on Sunday with the intention of either having him perform or be brought out on stage by Kanye West at this year's event.
Its organizer, James Connors, also wrote a short statement where he noted via Change that the multi-artist event's executives had done wrong by Scott after he was taken off of its lineup following the deadly Astroworld festival where 11 people were killed.

He wrote: 'After Coachella unfairly removed Travis Scott for Harry Styles, they need to do the right thing and rebook him immediately. Coachella switched Travis and Frank for Harry Styles and Billie Eilish? What kind of message does that send?'
Connors also wrote that 'fans are demanding refunds and selling their tickets. Coachella needs to fix this asap.'
He expressed that the artist was not to blame for the tragic events that occurred at the Astroworld Festival this past November.
Connors wrote: 'We all know Astroworld tragedy wasn't Travis fault. Let him get back to performing on the biggest stages!'
