Casey Affleck and his girlfriend Caylee Cowan kicked their romance up a notch on Wednesday when they celebrated a year since the day they met with a kiss.
The 46-year-old Academy Award winner and his 23-year-old girlfriend shared dueling Instagram posts in which they confessed their 'love' for each other.
Although they two have been spotted embracing in public, their social media displays appear to be the most PDA to date that they've shared with their fans
Caylee, who works as an actress, posted a playful black-and-white photo of herself sitting on her boyfriend's lap as they wrapped their arms around each other.
She let out a boisterous laugh while cradling his head, and both wore complementary white shirts, while she also had on dark jeans.
In a second photo, the lovebirds had their eyes closed as they locked lips at night while standing in front of a body of water, which she wrote was from Budapest, Hungary.
'"Lovers don’t finally meet somewhere, they’re in each other all along,"' Caylee began her post with a quotation from the 13th-century Persian poet Rumi.
'Today, January 26th, is the day we first met. The universe conspired to bring us together when we each needed the other most,' she continued.

She went on to praise the Manchester By The Sea star as 'genuine' and 'generous,' while complimenting his ability to 'forgive yourself and others' while being vulnerable and sensitive.
'You have reminded me that hardship makes the heart stronger, and that the beauty we all have — everyone — is in part, the pattern of our scars. Our scars, as much as any other part, make us who we are,' she continued. Casey followed her post with a photo of himself nuzzling her long dark hair and a similarly loving caption.
